About Tørst
Founded in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, Tørst was created with the idea that beer could be approached with the same care, hospitality, and attention traditionally reserved for wine and fine dining.
Over the years, Tørst has become internationally recognized for its carefully curated draft and bottle list, thoughtful service, and dedication to showcasing some of the best breweries in the world. With 21 rotating draft lines and hundreds of bottled and canned selections, the bar has long been considered one of New York City’s premier destinations for craft beer.
From 2013 to 2017, Tørst was home to Luksus, the groundbreaking Michelin-starred tasting menu restaurant. That spirit of culinary ambition still influences the bar today.
While beer remains at the center of Tørst, the bar has continued to evolve.
Guests can now enjoy a full cocktail program, curated wine list, spirits, and a seasonally changing food menu focused on elevated bar food made with high-quality ingredients.
Today, Tørst continues to operate as an ambitious neighborhood bar — a place equally suited for serious beer enthusiasts, casual drinks with friends, late-night dining, dates, industry gatherings, and private events.
